Success Factors
Struber provided targeted communications to a remote community in the Gold Coast Hinterland following a major landslip resulting in structural damage to the road and infrastructure.
Struber engaged extensively with the local community during the project’s infancy, fostering positive relationships and having open discussions about project design and construction methodologies. Early discussions with businesses and residents also provided context of the importance of these works and the accelerated timeframes associated with the road restoration programme. Communications activities such as door knocks and establishing a 24 hour project hotline effectively introduced and embedded the project team within this remote community in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
Struber:
Struber’s critical start up model was implemented to create realistic expectations regarding road closures, construction scheduling and related impacts. Community members had regular contact with Struber, resulting in no complaints received about construction activities for the duration of the project.
