Struber provided strategic engagement support during road restoration works at over 80 sites along Lamington National Park Road following Cyclone Debbie in March 2017.
Struber partnered with Department of Transport and Main Roads and McIlwain to deliver a critical start up plan to implement proactive communications activities over the course of 12 months. Road closures, sensitive work locations and construction impacts on local businesses and residents were managed closely by Struber by providing advance notice of construction activities, arranging access through road closures and facilitating meetings between community members and project team specialists.
Struber:
Struber successfully implemented its renowned critical start up model and engaged stakeholders prior to project delivery which enabled a smooth transition into construction deliverables. Establishing close connections with key community members and regular site visits to address any concerns enabled the project team to work to an accelerated delivery schedule and continue meeting critical path targets.
