Julie has advised, consulted and fulfilled in-house roles on over 40 major infrastructure projects valued at over $22 billion, including the renowned Gold Coast Light Rail; Gateway Motorway; Bruce Highway; Brisbane busways; Surat, Bowen and Galilee Basin rail corridors; and Crossrail, a new high capacity railway for London. Her gift for negotiating coupled with practical insight and ability to instil energy ensures engagement forms an integral part of a project’s management culture. She offers a unique insight and understanding of stakeholder interfaces, having engaged thousands of stakeholders, and has a passion to ensuring communities form part of the decision making process.
Throughout his career Dion has directed the transformation and growth of complex technology and consulting organisations by fulfilling critical and challenging assignments. Today thriving on change and disruption, Dion uses his background in technology and marketing consulting to strengthen businesses he works with in the infrastructure, construction, development, government, resource and energy sectors.
Beth has a reputation and passion for developing 'the big idea' to guide tenders and bids, issues management and project success having worked on iconic projects such as the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing, Cross River Rail, Bruce Highway, Go Between Bridge and Cairns Airport. She has experience facilitating the smooth delivery of major construction projects for contractors and developers in aged care, shopping centres, airports and industrial property.
Misti discovered her passion for construction whilst working for McConnell Dowell on Stage 1 of the Gold Coast Light Rail project. This role saw Misti apply her commercial and risk awareness skills and knowledge to this $1.2 billion complex, urban light rail project. Prior to entering the construction industry, Misti had a successful career in the financial markets, working for an array of clients across a broad range of industries. Here, she developed skills in building relationships, negotiating complex agreements, managing competing priorities and delivering exceptional outcomes in short timeframes.
Lauren has over 12 years’ experience in print and digital design, having developed a portfolio of design experience in various industry sectors such as Engineering, Infrastructure, Government and Public Relations. Consulting since 2012, Lauren has had the opportunity to work in the infrastructure industry on tenders, branding, capability statements, videos, presentations and various other marketing material, which has included the development of infographics, communication documents, digital communications and social media from concept phase through to the final execution.
Caitlin has been delivering top-notch communications solutions for clients across the construction, infrastructure, engineering, property, and not-for-profit sectors for over ten years. She has a proven track record for understanding sector challenges and meeting client objectives, big or small. Her credentials boast experience across in-house and agency roles delivering successful corporate communications, investor relations, stakeholder engagement, community relations, and marketing programs.
Debra has a strong track record implementing highly successful communication and engagement programs across sectors including infrastructure, resources, education, public sector, not-for-profit and tourism. She has a proven ability to deliver positive outcomes for internal and external stakeholders and has worked on major projects including Queensland Reconstruction Program, Tugun Bypass and the Aurukun Bauxite Project. Debra is also a passionate advocate for gender equality in the infrastructure sector and has previously worked with the UQ Women in Engineering Program and the National Association of Women in Construction.
Bringing over a decade of experience in the communications industry, Vanessa has worked in a variety of consultancy, government, in-house and major project environments across mining, infrastructure, construction, water, health and rail industries in Australia and the United Kingdom. She has a proven track records developing and delivering corporate communications strategies, stakeholder management and community relations.
Johanna has successfully developed and delivered communications and engagement strategies on major infrastructure projects ranging from $30 million to $5.4 billion. Her combination of corporate communications and on-site construction contract expertise gives her the unique ability to engage with a range of stakeholders including landowners, lobby groups, government agencies, media, and contractors/suppliers. She is details oriented with strong writing skills and is committed to helping clients identify efficiency improvements, ensure best-for-project outcomes and exceed expectations.
Rebecca is a senior design professional with over fourteen years of experience across a broad range of industries including infrastructure, property and urban planning, and utilities. With a background in both consulting and fulfilling in-house roles, she combines this with experience in problem solving, concept creation and idea generation gained over her diverse background to deliver exceptional results for her clients time and time again.
Tegan has been making things happen for the last five years’ in the government sector, developing and delivering community engagement solutions for a wide range of infrastructure projects. Tegan’s experience is focused on managing programs of works of up to 300 projects at one time which requires a high level of organisation and an ability to be in the detail. Tegan is not afraid to get her hands dirty and works hard to ensure stakeholder expectations are met. She combines her areas of expertise in written communications, on the ground community engagement and political relations to provide strategic solutions to ensure the reputation of her clients.
Tanya is naturally engaging, personable, and has a reputation for understanding and communicating with people from a range of stakeholder levels. Over the past six years, Tanya has worked in a variety of leading recruitment agencies across Brisbane with a focus on contractor management and employee satisfaction. Her key areas of expertise include conflict management, problem solving, multi-tasking, and always ensures a discrete and ethical approach to her work.
Blake is a multidisciplinary visual designer, who has a passion for digital art and technology. Over the past six years, Blake has worked across a broad selection of industries, from lifestyle brands to finance and technology, providing imaginative and creative solutions.
Damien is a graphic design enthusiastic with experience in publishing, branding, and 3D animation. He likes to tackle a challenge, and enjoys experimenting with new ideas and technologies.
Jamie has been delivering integrated communications and stakeholder engagement campaigns for over four years, where he has supported an array of major infrastructure projects in community driven environments. A collaborative and solutions focused practitioner, Jamie offers a broad range of skills that add value to any project. With a natural ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, he is able to navigate public and private interests while engaging the heart of communities.
Jacqueline recently graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management and Public Relations. She has previous experience in employee professional development, creating role descriptions and strengthening employee engagement through previous HR internships’. She is also experienced in stakeholder mapping and integrated campaign planning through a Public Relations and Digital Media internship. Jacqueline is currently coordinating events and community consultation, as well as stakeholder mapping and media monitoring for a rail project in South East Queensland. Jacqueline enjoys a challenge and is dedicated to always getting the best possible outcome from her work.
Having graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Media Communication majoring in Marketing, Emma has a strong passion for creative digital communication solutions. She has previous experience in marketing, social media management and content creation through prior roles. Emma also has experience in stakeholder engagement and integrated campaign development through work in hospitality and retail marketing. Her experience and passion for people and communication results in positive client experiences and efficient quality work.
Eliza is a passionate Graphic Designer with skills in film, photography and production. As an artist and musician in her spare time, she thrives on creativity and fresh ideas. She especially loves a difficult challenge and enjoys learning new skills and technologies that she can apply to her work wherever possible.
Combining data analytics and creativity, Daniel is a digital native with abilities across the digital marketing spectrum. With experience in a variety of industries ranging from tech start-ups to car mechanics, he uses data to shape campaigns and ideas so that they’re effective in achieving marketing and business objectives. Being able to analyse results and adapt to these outcomes, he can help reach the audience that will be most responsive to your message.
