Are you getting crisis cut-through? We are getting tons of emails and they are up to 15 paragraphs long from all organisations we trust and need leadership from.
1 Own your message! What are you responsible for? Who is your audience? I want to see people going to that press release model – Who, What, When, Where and Why… keep it short.
2 Turn into other contents – imagery, infographic, and video to get your message out there. I think people are consuming way too much and we need to make sure that they get the message you are trying to deliver in a quick and clear way.
3 Keep the energy upbeat and positive. There is no point in getting out and getting down with everybody else. As an industry, we need to keep it positive. We’re here to make sure there is an awesome up kick in the economy, and we need to lead and be proactive in those messages.
